The waters surrounding Toberua have many superb dive sites to cater for all levels ranging from the beginners to advanced divers. Our dive sites have an excellent variety of hard and soft coral along with the rare magic coral. You can expect to see a breath taking variety of reef sharks, barracuda, trevalli, gropher, giant wrasse and lots of flora. There is an exciting ship wreck dive with a maze of corals and sea life to explore.

DIVE COURSES

PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

An introductory dive experience that includes basic theory, pool session and one sea dive accompanied by your instructor. This course allows you to dive with your instructor for up to 14 days. You must be able to swim and be at least 10 years old.Starting from $115

PADI SCUBA DIVER

This course is a pre-entry level certification that is for people who only plan to dive a couple times a year. As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the PADI Scuba Diver allows you to get certified quickly and easily.Starting from $335

PADI E-LEARNING

For guest that don’t want to study while on holiday. Toberua Divers now offers PADI e-learning. Do your theory over the net and enjoy your diving at Toberua Island. Full payment of your dive course is required by the resort before the e-learning can start. Both Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses are available on e-learning. See below.

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

This course certifies you as an internationally recognized scuba diver allowing you to dive anywhere in the world. The course involves theory; confined water and open water (4 divers in the open sea). You must be able to swim and be 10 years or over for junior certification and 15 years or over for full certification.

PADI ADVANCED DIVER

E-learning starting at $410.00

This is the next step of PADI education following the Open Water Certification. This certificate takes you through specialized types of diving. You must complete 5 dives in total, including deep dive and underwater navigation dive.

PADI RESCUE DIVER COURSE

Starting at $403.00

The rescue diver expands on preventing emergencies and how to manage them. A rewarding and demanding course where you will learn self rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers. This course also includes first aid skills. Allow 3-4 days. You must be at least 15 years old and a certified advanced diver or similar certification and be trained in first aid within the last 2 years.

PADI OPEN WATER REFERRAL

If you only have time to complete part of the Open Water Course, we send you away with a form which enables you to complete the full course with another PADI instructor. Alternatively, do the theory and pool work at home and come to the warm tropical seas of Toberua to finish the 4 open water dives.

PADI DIVE MASTER

Starting at $1080.00

This course is your first step in becoming a diving professional. Allow three weeks minimum to complete this course. You are required to attend a minimum of eight lectures and assist the instructor with other PADI courses: lead actual dives and complete assignments. Upon completion of this course you will have become a highly trained scuba professional.
