Wedding & Anniversary Packages
Please note: Namale requires for any couple planning their wedding to choose a date at least 72 hours after arrival.
Whether you are choosing to elope into the paradise that is Namale or travel with family and friends, you will find our Namale family to be highly trained, skilled and ready to be of service. Priding ourselves in turning wedding dreams into a reality, we tailor make our
wedding packages to suit guest budgets and ensuring that your wedding dreams do come true.
All you need to do to determine your final wedding package investment is select the following additional services and tally the corresponding amounts for your final investment:
MANDATORY SERVICES FOR ALL PACKAGES:
- Highly skilled and experienced wedding co©\coordinator with over 10 years experience in event management and boutique weddings
- Processing of all documents to ensure that wedding is legal in both Fiji and country of residence of bride and groom
- Couriering of wedding certificate back to country of resident anywhere in the world
- Wedding Celebrant (choice of civil or religious)
- Wedding Venue Set Up (floral arch, aisle of flowers and floral decorations that will capture the essence of the South Pacific)
- Fijian choir to sing for wedding ceremony during welcome, signing of papers and after the ceremony is over

| Fijian Warriors and Chariots |
This comes very highly recommended and adds to the romantic essence of the day. Imagine the bride stepping out of her bure to find 6 Fijian warriors waiting for her - 4 to hoist the bride and her especially made chariot on their shoulders and 2 to escort the entourage to the groom. Warriors are traditionally dressed with grass skirts whilst escorts bear traditional Fijian war clubs to protect the bride till she comes to the wedding venue |

The above mandatory and additional services rates are based
on weddings being held at the Resort during the week (Monday - Friday). Please
ask for rates for a Saturday wedding. Namale does not offer weddings on a Sunday
or public holiday. We offer a maximum of 2 weddings and 2 renewals a month.
We will not take more than that. Rates subject to change.
PHOTOGRAPHY: We have 2 options of photographers that you are able to choose from. Please ask for rates and details.
Typical Wedding Questions
Following are some general questions that are often asked and will help in organizing a wedding at Namale
Legality
- All ceremonies are legally binding and recognized
Documents
- Passports; Original or Certified copies of Birth Certificate; letters of Parental Consent if under 21; Decrees of Dissolution by the Registrar General, local or State Government, if divorced, or copy of Death Certificate if Spouse has died. This is obtainable from their local Registrar or District Office.
The Registry office
is open Monday - Friday from 9.00am - 3.00pm. Your marriage license must be obtained before the ceremony, so keep this in mind if arriving on a weekend. You will need to wait until the Monday morning to get your license. Guests need to register in the province they will marry in, so they cannot register in Nadi and get married in Savusavu. The District office does not open on public holidays and can only marry people if the license was issued at the Savusavu office.
Ceremony Times and Location:
You will meet with the Wedding Coordinator and the Team after you have checked into your Bure. The Team will show you different locations on the property and work with you on all aspects of your special day. Ceremonies are generally held at sunset, unless a different time is requested. Weddings can take place at the location of your choosing. We do not offer weddings on a Sunday or Public Holidays.
Officiating officer performing the ceremony:
All ministers in Fiji belong to a certain church. There are no nondenominational ministers. While we will try to honor requests for a specific type of minister, who is available for the date requested will be the primary factor. Catholic Weddings are held at the nearest Catholic Church.
Wedding certificate:
The certificate only shows two names - that of the bride and groom before they get married. It shows Miss XX married Mr. ZZ. You choose what name you want afterward.
Choir:
It is the Methodist church choir and they sing religious Fijian hymns. The Fijians are well known for their melodic voices and songs in harmony. Their very special songs will add a unique character and an island atmosphere to your wedding ceremony.
Meals for Visiting Guests not staying at Namale:
Non©\Namale guests are welcome to join the bride and groom for their celebratory dinner and drinks. However, we charge a minimum rate of $114.00 per person for dinner and beverages. Other charges may apply based on specific requests.
Room Safe:
Every Bure has a strong box and we also have a safe in the Front Office.
Hair Salon:
There is only 1 salon in Savusavu and we are able to contract the services of our local hairdresser to attend to the bride and her attendants (if any) for that special day.

The above prices are good for travel until 31 March 2013 and based on flight availability. Please ask for rates for departures after this date. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Hotels are subject to availability. US/foreign taxes/fees/fuel surcharges from approximately $148 including September 11th Security Fee, are INCLUDED. Prices reflect a 3% discount for purchases made by cash/check. There are no discounts for payment made by credit cards. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions apply. There may be black-out dates on any packages. Prices subject to change without notice. *ALL PACKAGES SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. Fuel Surcharge from F$5 to F$10 person will be collected directly upon check-in at Denarau Marina for those passengers connecting to islands on South Sea Cruises and Awesome Adventures to the Mamanuca & Yasawa islands.
