Matamanoa Island is a small, intimate and secluded Fiji Resort set in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands approximately 30 kilometres West of Nadi International Airport.

The Island boasts a volcanic cone jutting out of the turquoise/aqua blue waters of this unspoilt area of the Fiji Islands. Clad with dense bush and palm trees, the brilliance of the vegetation contrasts magnificently with the white curved sandy beach and pristine coral reefs.

Created for those who want to forget the pressures of their business or busy lifestyle or for those who dream of peace and tranquillity. In an effort to achieve this special atmosphere, Matamanoa Island Resort has adopted a year round policy of not permitting children under the age of 12 years.

Twenty Beachfront Bures & Thirteen Garden View Hotel Rooms (all air-conditioned)

Beachfront Bures
Twenty spacious 54 sq metre bures with king size bed and sofa bed, granite top bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities, coffee plunger, clock/radio, coffee table, chair, personal safe plus patio with hammock and outdoor table and two chairs.

The Bures are of traditional Fijian design with high ceilings lined with hand painted tapa, they have been designed to catch the breeze and feature louvered windows throughout, overhead fans and sliding glass doors opening on to the patio which overlooks the ocean.

Ensuite bathroom with twin vanities, granite bench, state of the art fittings, Italian tiles, hair drier, bathrobes & amenities.
Bures will accommodate maximum 2 adults and 2 children 12 years to 15 years, or 4 adults, the extra bed will be a roll away.
Daily service & nightly turn down.

Garden View Hotel Rooms
Thirteen Garden View, air-conditioned Hotel Rooms, ground level all in a row, set amongst tropical gardens. One room, queen size bed, bar unit with refrigerator & sink, tea/coffee making facilities, coffee plunger, clock/radio, table and two chairs, small patio with table and two chairs. Ensuite bathroom, single vanity and marbleised bench, European fittings and Italian tiles – hair dryer, bathrobe & amenities.

Hotel Rooms will accommodate a couple only, not suitable for twin share as only one queen size bed

Sailing boats, paddle boards, windsurfers, row boats, coral viewing on our glass bottom boat, hand line fishing, snorkelling (including mask/snorkel/fins), coconut tree climbing demonstration and instruction, weaving demonstration, sulu tying demonstration, tennis (day & night), table tennis, volleyball, beach games, library, mountain hike, board games, afternoon tea.

General Information
Our sites range from 9 – 30 metres, however most dives are around 18 metres and shallower depths for repetitive dives. In general visibility is between 20-40 metres and water temperature ranges from 26 – 31 degrees Celsius. Fiji is fast becoming the diving capital of the Pacific and the advantage diving with Viti Watersports is our dive sites are so close to Matamanoa Island.

Viti Watersports has a full range of modern equipment for rental. We insist that all divers use safe fully serviced equipment. Wetsuits are required in our cooler months. During summer a t-shirt can be worn if desired. All divers are required to show their certification cards and sign an insurance indemnity release form. If a medical condition exists please bring your doctors clearance with you.

Viti Watersports conducts a large range of Diver Programs beyond the Open Water Course. For more information please contact Viti Watersports direct. Please come and see our friendly Dive Staff and they will help co-ordinate your diving and snorkeling excursions. The above rates are valid until 31 March 2009, Please ask for rates for departures after this date. The flight prices included in this package are based on the lowest fare and subject to availability. To get this rate we recommend you book early. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Add-on fares available from other cities. Hotels are subject to availability. US/foreign taxes/fees/fuel surcharges of approximately $285, including September 11th Security Fee, are additional. Prices reflect a 3% discount for purchases made by cash/check. There are no discounts for payment made by credit cards. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions apply.
