Diving
L'Aventure scuba dive operation offers a wide range of adventures- from calm, shallow sites for beginners, to walls and gently sloping coral gardens with overhangs and swim troughs to advanced drift diving for the experienced diver. Non-divers can also experience the beauty of the underwater world through snorkeling, sea kayaking or by glass-bottom boat.
Traveling time to the dive sites ranges from 20 minutes to the house reef to one hour to the outer reefs. Our onsite marine biologist will be your tour guide to some of the best dive sites in the world, including:

Dreamhouse - Our best fish dive, located 30-45 minutes east of the resort in the Koro Sea. It is a sea mount that provides a fantastic feeding ground for both small fish and larger ocean pelagics. It's common to find large schools of barracuda, white tip reef sharks, manta rays, and even hammerhead sharks.

Nsonisoni Pass - A drift current running from Savusavu Bay to Wainunu Bay. The passage is 500 yards long and 1/2 mile wide and displays a vibrant array of colorful hard and soft coral as far as the eye can see.

Namena Island - This site has often been referred to as one of the top ten in the world. About an hour's ride from the resort, we often make a full day of the trip. Namena is a small, isolated island about 20 kilometers south of Savusavu and is primarily visited by live-aboards due to its remote location. Grand Central Station offers seemingly bottomless drop-offs and pristine coral gardens that support an abundance of marine life.
