The island's 174 acres are covered with lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by white sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs. Castaway is a place for romantic couples of all ages with or without children. It has something for everyone - all it takes is just one visit and you're hooked. Castaway Island is not far from Fiji's main Island of Viti Levu. It sits on a small reef-ringed island in the Mamanuca Group just 20 miles due west of Nadi International Airport.

Castaway is the most popular Mamanuca Island resort due to a combination of the overall size of the island, secluded spacious bures, creative island cuisine and the genuine warmth and friendliness of the Castaway family of staff provide a unique island holiday experience.

Accommodations consist of 29 Island bures, 12 Oceanview bures, and 25 Beach bures. Each bure features one king size bed and most include two additional single beds in their configuation, with those bures comfortable sleeping four persons. The three bedroom family beach bure sleeps up to ten persons and offers two king beds, six single beds and two bathrooms. All bures are spacious, well ventilated with overhead ceiling fans as well as air-conditioning and feature quality inclusions.

Children's facilities include available cribs and high chairs, private babysitting at $4.00 per hour, supervised children's meals, children's wading pool and supervised Kids Club (3-12 years) complimentary 9:00am to 9:00pm daily, which includes fun activites with a diistinct Fijian flavor.
