Situated right on the sands of renowned Muri Beach, but given privacy in its own beautiful and secluded cove, each villa has magnificent lagoon views and decks with steps straight onto the white coral sand beach. Of course, there are complimentary sun lounges, kayaks, snorkeling gear, and beach games available to make the most of your exotic surroundings.
The central “Ultimate” villa has its own dedicated Movie Theatre room with a 2.5 meter screen and full theatre projector and sound systems. The other two beachfront villas have 60-inch LCD TV units complete with surround sound Home Theatre systems built into their living area entertainment centers for a movie sensation that has to be seen to be believed. Similar systems with 42-inch LCD screens are incorporated into the beachside villas.
Attention is given to ensuring that all guests are treated with VIP status, including private luxury car VIP airport transfers, VIP welcome real tropical flower ‘ei’ greetings, and Champagne gift basket. In-house massages, facials, etc. can also be arranged with minimal notice. With our own Wedding Co-ordinator on site, luxury weddings with the attention to detail that reflects the standard we provide, will be a never-to–be-forgotten experience for all those couples wanting somewhere extra special to marry and honeymoon. Intimate family weddings are also possible as Rumours is small enough for all the family to stay on site, have the premises all to themselves, yet they would be able to retain their individual privacy. The above rates are valid until 31 March 2010, please ask for rates for departures after this date. The flight prices included in this package are based on the lowest fare and subject to availability. To get this rate we recommend you book early. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Add-on fares available from other cities. Hotels are subject to availability. US/foreign taxes/fees/fuel surcharges of approximately $275, including September 11th Security Fee, are additional. Prices reflect a 3% discount for purchases made by cash/check. There are no discounts for payment made by credit cards. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions apply. There may be black-out dates on this package. Direct flights depart from LAX on Sundays arriving in Rarotonga on Monday morning and then depart Rarotonga on Saturday to return back in LAX on Sunday.

Rumours Of Romance is a brand new small resort, having been restricted in size to just five extremely luxurious villas. It sets yet another standard on the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands; it truly is for the discerning traveler. The villas are purposely built to suit the luxury traveler, those requiring a top-of–the-line venue for their weddings and honeymoons, and smaller executive level conferences and bonus driven incentive holidays.
Each villa has two bedrooms with romantic super-king four-poster hand carved, canopied beds. Each bedroom has its own luxury bathroom with Italian fittings and marble floors and walls. There are four-poster day beds for relaxing in the lounge. In each bathroom, a uniquely designed clear glass block walled, pebble floored shower, is built into its own private garden & stream, and is bathed with romantic garden lighting at night. Two large Italian ceramic basins grace the custom-built marble vanity units with imported carved mirrors above.
Completely private individual swimming pools for each villa are set amidst their own waterfalls. Fountains, streams, tropical gardens and sun-soaked decks will be predominant features adding to the air of romance, privacy and luxury. The three beachfront villas will each have, in addition to their swimming pool, a heated spa pool for romantic star gazing in the evenings.
The upmarket fully equipped kitchens allow for a “stay at home” option to complement the many excellent restaurants available within a few minutes of Rumours. Options also exist for gourmet meals to be catered without having to leave the haven of your private villa, including Champagne Brunch or Dinner Baskets delivered at the time of your choice, and of course there are built in stainless steel BBQ’s on both front & rear decks.
